As you’ll have no doubt seen on our social media, Janet & Esther were down at Facebook’s Partner Centre at Brock St, London last week for the latest updates on the Facebook #SheMeansBusiness Programme with Enterprise Nation and other Social Media Trainers. While they were there Janet picked up a copy of Facebook’s new launch – a printed magazine called GROW by Facebook!

Unbelievable you might proclaim! What, Facebook going to print!

But wait … why shouldn’t or wouldn’t they? Isn’t marketing about a mix of different mediums, avenues and resources? You can’t rely on any one marketing medium. Magazine’s have Facebook Pages. TV Programme’s advertise on billboards. Radio channels promote on TV. So it stands to reason that Facebook would use other marketing channels…such as print!

What we found even more interesting about this magazine is that we couldn’t help thinking it looked like someone from good old Huddersfield, Yorkshire that makes amazing cakes, is just up the road in our village of Honley and makes the most amazing cakes!
